Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the multifactorial rehabilitation needs of head and neck cancer survivors, including the interplay between neurologic, autonomic, cognitive, and fatigue-related impairments,
- Identify clinical features and diagnostic considerations for baroreceptor dysfunction in the context of head and neck cancer treatment, including its impact on blood pressure lability and fall risk.
- Develop targeted rehabilitation strategies to manage trismus, baroreflex dysfunction, and cognitive dysfunction in patients recovering from head and neck cancer treatment.
