Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Cite the rationale for intra-osseous PRP injections.
  2. Identify biomarkers used to assess inflammation, bone/cartilage degradation, and bone/cartilage synthesis.
  3. Compare the effects of intra-articular and combined intra-articular plus intra-osseous PRP injections on clinical outcomes, cartilage turnover, and inflammatory activity.
  4. Assess the preparation for an Allogenic Stem Cell transplant.
  5. List conditions that would benefit from cancer rehabilitation referral.
  6. Summarize benefit of pre-habilitation programs in this patient population.
