Advanced Critical Care Nursing Online CNE Course: Neurology Concepts

The central nervous system controls and coordinates all bodily functions, processes sensory information, and enables complex behaviors and cognitive processes. This course will equip you with essential knowledge and skills for assessing and managing patients with critical neurological conditions.
Target Audience
This nursing conference is designed for nurses in critical care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe how to assess neurological status in a critical care patient
- Summarize effective monitoring of intracranial pressure and cerebral perfusion pressure
- Recognize signs, symptoms and anticipated effects of stroke
- Identify and provide comprehensive care to the patient impacted by other neurological conditions
