The program is multidisciplinary with faculty representing various wound-related fields. Multiple educational formats are used, including didactic sessions, interactive panel discussions, and case presentations that offer comprehensive wound-management strategies (from basics to high-level). This symposium meets the continuing education needs of a range of wound care providers, from novices to experts.

    February 27 - March 1, 2026 - ASU Health Futures Center - Phoenix, Arizona This course offers Live (in-person) and Livestream (virtual) attendance options The 8th Annual Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Summit is be a hybrid course offering live lectures as well as a simultaneous livestream. It covers all aspects of the upper extremity including the hand/wrist, elbow, and shoulder. In addition, it reviews physical exam techniques, appropriate imaging modalities, rehabilitation strategies, and when surgery is indicated. This course provides an update on the use of biologics for common upper extremity injuries, and discusses all aspects of the care of the overhead/throwing athlete with live ultrasound demonstrations. Faculty representing orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology, plastic surgery, athletic training, and physical therapy lead didactic and interactive case presentations and panel discussions.
