    February 22 - 26, 2026 - Hyatt Regency Maui - Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii This course offers Live (in-person) and Livestream (virtual) attendance options This 5-day course addresses the spectrum of spine diseases via didactics, case studies, and panel discussions, whether it is secondary to trauma, deformity, or common degenerative conditions. A unique split curriculum covers strategies for both surgical spine management and nonoperative approaches, including epidemiology, clinical anatomy, biomechanics, clinical assessment, and spine imaging review. Spinal injection strategies for various common spinal conditions, safety, and efficacy are examined, as well as post traumatic surgical management, adjacent segment disease issues, and comparison between various surgical techniques such as motion preserving and fusion. Differential diagnosis and the global burden of spine disease are emphasized, discussed, and debated.

Participants acquire the principles of experiential learning, including types of simulation-based education, designing and implementing scenarios, and debriefing strategies.

    February 24 -25, 2026 - Mayo Clinic - Rochester, Minnesota This course is Live (in-person) attendance only Hospital Medicine Simulation-Based Boot Camp for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants is a simulation-based, two-day course designed for the novice learner, ideally within the first year of their hospital-based NP/PA position. This course is full of practical information taught by faculty that use current guidelines and share tidbits of experience to help successfully care for acutely ill hospitalized patients. It is filled with a variety of commonly encountered hospital scenarios followed by interactive and informal discussion. Open dialog is encouraged. Participants should feel free to wear scrubs and comfortable shoes, bring a stethoscope, and reference/clinical materials used in daily practice. Despite being called boot camp there are no physical fitness elements to the course.

Multiple educational formats are used, including didactic sessions, interactive panel discussions, and case presentations that offer comprehensive wound-management strategies (from basics to high-level). This symposium meets the continuing education needs of a range of wound care providers, from novices to experts.
